Are You Creating a Physically Active Workforce?

Corporate Fitness Program Fit N 5 (3)

Whether your workforce operates primarily remote or hybrid, staying physically active on a consistent basis can be a barrier for your employees. According to the Centers for Disease Control(CDC), only 24.2 percent of adults over the age of 18 meet the 2018 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans. The physical activity guideline recommends that adults do at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous cardiovascular activity combined with resistance training activities at least 2 times per week.

The Benefits to Physical Activity are Numerous

The health benefits of regular physical activity for your employees include, improved sleep, stronger bones, weight loss, improved mental and emotional health, decreased risk for costly chronic diseases like diabetes or hypertension and overall improved health outcomes. As a company, when your employees are physically active, you create the opportunity to increase employee productivity, company morale, decrease absenteeism or presenteeism, save on healthcare and improve the retention rates of qualified talent.

Costs Associated with Physical Inactivity

Although there’s numerous benefits of a physically active workforce, there’s also risks associated with sedentary (in-active) employees. In their latest report, The World Health Organization (WHO), stated, “Almost 500 million people will develop heart disease, obesity, diabetes or other non-communicable diseases (NCDs) attributable to physical inactivity, between 2020 and 2030, costing US$ 27 billion annually.

The Statistics for Physical Inactivity are Alarming

The economic burden of physical inactivity affects families, communities and businesses. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), “Each inactive employee costs his/her employer, on average, an additional $1,313 dollars per year over more physically active employees.

As a company, have you experienced the financial burden of inactive employees?

We Make Fitness Simple and Accessible

Creating a physically active workforce can be simple when you have a done-for-you fitness solution that takes the guesswork out of how to create a fitness program that is engaging, sustainable and doesn’t require a gym membership or costly equipment.

We Have Your Solution

Our solution is Fit-N-5 Fitness Program(™).

Our Fit-N-5 Fitness Method (™) consists of 5-Exercises, 5-5 Minute Rounds (1-Minute Each Exercise) 5-days per week for 5-Weeks. No gym membership, no traveling to the gym and limited equipment!

We built the foundation of our fitness program on the concept of circuit training and intensity. Circuit training is a fitness training principle which requires one to perform one exercise immediately after another exercise, only reaching a state of rest when each exercise within an exercise set has been completed. This type of fitness training helps to improve overall cardiovascular and muscular endurance, saves time and helps beat boredom! Circuit training is for every fitness level!

What Items Come with Fit-N-5?

Each employee receives the following items with Fit-N-5:

Our resistance training guide teaches employees how to lift weights properly in order to avoid injury, how to gain muscular strength to improve activities of daily living, how to stretch to increase range of motion and mobility, fitness terminology that empowers employees on how to make fitness a lifetime commitment and so much more.

It’s no secret that reaching optimal levels of health and fitness requires the knowledge of “how” to eat healthy and not how to diet. Therefore, in our nutrition ebook “Balanced Nutrition” we educate employees on how to identify how many calories they need to consume for weight loss, fitness performance and improved health, we teach employees how macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates and fat) are used in the body and used for fuel during physical activity and we debunk diets myths with truth about basic nutrition.

Our exercise guide is where employees will find a variety of exercises that will be used to perform for their Fit-N-5 fitness circuits. Each exercise provides two images, one for the set-up as well as one for the action-steps needed to perform each exercise properly. Step-by-step instructions are provided along with each image on how to execute each exercise.

We took all of the guesswork out of having your employees trying to figure out what exercises they need to do in order to get fit. This 3-page document provides 5-different fitness circuits designed as the building block of Fit-N-5. Your employee will have a designated workout for 5 days per week for 5-weeks.The corresponding exercises needed to perform each Fit-N-5 circuit is found in our Fit-N-5 Exercise Guide.

Your employee can download our fitness program to their Smartphone or laptop, do a general warm-up, start their timer and get started!

It’s that simple!
